Travel Directions

Our institute is located in Regensburg-Burgweinting, southern Germany, about 110 kilometers North-East of Munich.

  • Motorway/Freeway Connections
    Take Exit 100B 'Burgweinting' from the Autobahn A3/E56 (Frankfurt / Passau / Vienna), and and drive into the village of Burgweinting (away from The City of Regensburg). Turn right at the traffic light after the Gasthof Parzefall and we are the large white building about 150 yards down on your lefthand side.
  • Flight Connections
    International and domestic flights to either Munich or Nuremberg. From both airports you have direct motorway access to Regensburg-Burgweinting. Depending upon traffic, the journey time by car is some 50-60 minutes.
  • Train Connections
    Trains from all over Germany and Europe stop regularly at Regensburg Mainline Station. If you take a taxi to the institute, it will cost you about 12 Euros and takes about 10 minutes.
  • Bus Connections
    The buses 9 and 11 connect Regensburg-Burgweinting with the Regensburg City Center. During the day they run every 20 minutes. Get off at the "Friedrich - Viehbacher - Allee" (Gasthof Parzefall) and walk up 'Langer Weg' to the institute.
  • Accommodation
    if you need accommodation in Regensburg-Burgweinting, we recommend the Gasthof Parzefall. This family run hotel, has an excellent cuisine, is reasonably priced and is just 2-3 minutes from the institute. On site parking is available. Please contact the hotel directly:
